Lux in tenebris

There is a lot of darkness in the Universe and a boundless, cold void. Occasionally, however, the darkness is lightened by an unimaginably compressed mass and then it shines so strongly that it can be seen from the edge of the Galaxy and beyond. Sometimes the mass collapses into itself too much and then disappears from the eyes of the Cosmos, glowing a perfect black, absorbing everything around it and turning into an inferno.

Even rarer is the appearance of another light, with the potential to flare up like a star or collapse into itself like a black hole. It is now a conscious Cosmos thanks to a human being on a tiny Earth somewhere at the edge of the Milky Way. It is good to believe that it is Lux in tenebris and not Interitus lucis.
